FMS-like tyrosine kinase-3 (FLT3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase with an important role in hematopoietic progenitor cell development. Signaling through the FLT3 pathway has been implicated in certain forms of leukemia and hematopoietic malignancies. Ligand has discovered novel, selective, small molecule FLT3 inhibitors suitable for clinical candidate selection and further development for the potential treatment of multiple forms of cancer.
